WHO I AM

I am Diane Leboeuf, founder of Soaz Media and AI strategy and implementation consultant, specialized in arts, culture and sustainable development.

My career is that of an entrepreneur who has always introduced new technologies where no one expected them.

For over 25 years, I founded and led Sono Design and Soaz AV — two companies specialized in audiovisual production and immersive shows. I designed experiences for Hydro-Québec, the City of Montréal, the Musée de la civilisation and Cirque du Soleil. In each project, the challenge wasn't the technology — it was guiding organizations to truly commit to it, until they saw the benefits for themselves.

That's exactly what I do today with AI.

WHY AI, WHY NOW

In 2025, I founded Soaz Media with a conviction: arts, culture and sustainable development organizations need AI just as much as any other sector — but they deserve support that respects their mission, their teams and their values.

AI raises legitimate questions: decision transparency, algorithmic bias, data protection, impact on teams. These concerns are not obstacles — they are the starting point for a successful integration. That's why I practice responsible AI: transparent, governed and aligned with your mission.

MY APPROACH

  • I start from your reality, not from the tools. Before proposing anything, I seek to understand your organization, your challenges and your real constraints. The right use case is not the same for everyone — and sometimes, the best recommendation is not to implement a tool right away.

  • A responsible AI approach. I work according to the principles of responsible AI: transparency about how tools function, technological proportionality, data protection, human oversight of sensitive decisions, and compliance with Law 25 and GDPR. The AI I deploy is explainable, governed and aligned with your mission.

  • I build for your independence. Your tools belong to you. Your accounts too. I train your teams to truly master what has been put in place. I draw on a network of specialized collaborators based on the scope of each project, to ensure quality delivery under all circumstances.

  • A human and professional approach. AI does not replace your teams — it frees them from repetitive tasks so they can focus on what has real value. This conviction guides every one of my interventions.

SAMPLE USE CASES

Use case 1

Donor and Partner Communications

Management Agent

Your interaction histories compiled automatically, your communications personalized for each profile, your accountability reports generated without mobilizing your team. Your strategic relationships are better maintained — in your tone, not generic templates.

Use case 2

Funding Research and Monitoring System

An agent continuously monitors grant calls and funding programs matching your profile, delivering a weekly summary of relevant opportunities. You never miss funding for lack of time.

Use case 3

Impact Tracking and Reporting System

Your activity data aggregated automatically, your impact reports generated according to your indicators and adapted for each audience — funders, board, general public. Your team focuses on analysis and decisions, not on data compilation.

First pilot projects underway — case studies and testimonials available summer 2026.

MY SECTORAL COMMITMENTS

My interest in arts, culture, and sustainable development is not a marketing position — it is a long-standing commitment.

For four years, I led the Studio de musique ancienne de Montréal, a recognized cultural non-profit. This experience gave me a direct understanding of the governance challenges, limited resources, and mission-driven work that characterize cultural organizations.

In sustainable development, I served as co-chair of the Branding and Internationalization Committee at Écotech Québec for four years, and co-leader of the Montreal chapter of WIRE — Women in Renewable Energy for three years.

I know these sectors from the inside. This is not remote consulting.
